A fee estimate for charges and expenses for all assignments will be provided in a proposal. This remains valid for the period stated in the proposal or for ninety days from submission, which is ever the shorter. The client will agree in writing to the fee estimate and proposal.

All 1-1 coaching assignments are invoiced and diarised up front, after an initial consultation to understand chemistry and goals

  • With other assignments we invoice 50% of the agreed fees before the assignment commences, subsequent invoices will be submitted monthly in arrears
  • Agreed fees are subject to 20% VAT.
  • We ask to be paid within 20 working days of the date of our invoice Out of pocket expenses (diagnostics, courier, accommodation etc)are charged at cost.
  • Travel expenses are charged from consultants’ base office, mileage at £0.45 per mile.
  • A cancellation charge of 50% of the full fee will be charged if a cancellation occurs within 2 working days of the start date and 25% of the full fee if within 3-5 working days of the start date.
  • Timings can be re-scheduled once and we are given more than 10 working days notice.
  • If the selected consultant(s) cancels we will use all reasonable endeavors to find an alternative who is acceptable to the client.
  • All consultants maintain appropriate Professional Indemnity and General Liability insurance.
  • Individual and organisational client confidentiality is guaranteed and outlined at the start of the contract, particularly important for coaching contract.
  • Feedback to our client’s organisation can be provided upon the explicit approval of our client.
  • The proprietary rights to all materials developed and provided by the consultancy will vest solely with Ann Edwards & Co.
  • The consultant(s) will aim not to infringe any third party intellectual property rights or be in breach of any applicable law or UK regulation (including, but not limited to the Data Protection Act 2000).

Strategic HR

We get asked to carry out a number of different projects which are best described under the title of Strategic HR…they range from being a member of a selection panel for the appointment of a new HR Director to in depth consultation with employee groups on a new performance management system as part of a wider change initiative in the public sector.
