Ann Edwards & Co is a network of talented business leaders and developers who work with organisations and individuals to bring new insights and thinking to their leadership development challenges.

We aim to put consulting teams together with professionals who work well with each other and who can get quickly get up to speed with the clients’ business environment.

Ann Edwards is an experienced board director and general manager, with particular expertise in leadership and organisational development. She has worked internationally for over twenty five years with senior executives and teams, who have faced both personal and organisational challenges.

  • Her combined expertise as a board member, senior manager, business leader plus as a top 5 global HR consultant provides her with an unique breadth and range of capability ….’insightful and thought provoking dialogue’
  •  As a consultant for over fifteen years and business owner for the last ten she has been successful in consulting in a variety of different sectors.
  • Working directly with a diverse range of clients in both the public and private sectors and through partnerships and alliances with large plus boutique consultancies.

  • Prior to setting up her limited company Ann Edwards & Co in 2003 she worked with SHL and lead their Executive Development Practice Group, majoring on executive assessment, top team development and talent management.
  • In addition,she set up SHL’s leadership coaching practice. This included the licensing, training and supervision of their coaches.

  • Prior to her move to SHL (as part of her corporate exit plan), she worked for the then Towers Perrin in their European Human Capital and then Change Practice (ex Kinsley Lord). She was the European leader for Total Reward consulting, working with her global colleagues to deliver a joined up service offering to multi national clients.

  • One of her core beliefs is that she feels that in order to be remain credible with senior leaders you need to have held comparable positions at executive level.

  • This credibility was gained through senior roles with the BBC, ICL/Fujitsu, the then Ladbroke Group and during the merger and acquisition with Hilton.

  • Her network of partners and associates includes old colleagues from Towers Perrin, now Towers Watson, SHL, Russell Reynolds and Penna plus business leaders she has worked with during her career.

  • This eclectic mix of consultants and coaches are all chartered members of their professional institutes (CIPD, BPS, CIM, BIM, IOD) and are licensed for a specially selected range of leadership and organisation diagnostics. This includes licenses with Saville, SHL, OPP, Hogan, ERAS and exclusive use of an online testing capability.

Our proven approach enables today’s leaders to transform their individual and collective impact, while addressing real- time business issues and generating significant performance gains. 

Doing the extraordinary is a business imperative…there is no where to hide as all that we do is focused on performance and measured by results.

We work with companies in a growth phase to help them as they transition to new ownership structures, or require additional corporate governance to be successful in the next stage of their development. 

We may be called in by a new investor, a new chair person or CEO or by an existing executive looking for an objective review of the top team and how to enhance performance.

The Therapy Shed is a unique and peaceful environment in a beautiful garden. It is a converted Victorian workshop which started life as a carpentry shop.

Strategic HR

We get asked to carry out a number of different projects which are best described under the title of Strategic HR…they range from being a member of a selection panel for the appointment of a new HR Director to in depth consultation with employee groups on a new performance management system as part of a wider change initiative in the public sector.
