25 Days of Festive Health & Wellbeing - Treats for Yourself & Others
Make your Yuletide wreath with locally foraged leaves & berries. Book at One The Square 10am-1pm. You can also buy great pressies from Gill Neilson. I love her Alpaca socks for girls & boys plus hand painted cards
Take a mindful walk, using all your senses, in the lanes & woods to suss out where there are some holly berries left. Or in your garden if you are short of time. I’ve just picked some of the drying ferns, which also look good sprayed or au naturel with coral amaryllis if you must…
If you must go Christmas shopping go locally….avoid Bluewater & Brent Cross at all costs!!
Sort out your festive music & carols. We love listening to all our old CD’s on Christmas Eve & Day, including Frank & Tony, even Bing.
Book in for your special £5 off seasonal brush & scrub up plus detox oil followed by one of my special Moroccan teas at our new place – The Retreatery @ 2a High Street, East Grinstead. Your skin will sparkle! You may be able to book in for your nails with Tina if you are quick. Plus we have vouchers.
Create an outdoor glam Christmas table with candles, jug of holly, bird bath, a few rusted bits, some sprouting bulbs with moss, winter herbs plus a bough strung with fairy lights …may be going a bit far! The DT had a great article last weekend.
Another rest day from lists for taking stock, at work or at home.
Go carol singing . We go round our local roads this night with pre-printed sheets …the old ones are best. And we always get some Quality Street!
Check you are on the right burn down on your advent candle. It’s the Winter Solstice….dark nights will become shorter now!
